Dr. Emmanuel Srofenyoh is a Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist and presently the Medical Director of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital. He is fellow of the West Africa College of Surgeons (Obstetrics & Gynaecology). He also has an MPHIL in Health Services Management from the University of Ghana Business School. He is very passionate about ensuring the provision of quality and safe care for pregnant women and has worked. He is the resident coordinator and key implementing personnel of “The Multi-disciplinary and System-wide Centre of Excellence Project to Reduce Maternal and Perinatal death using Continuous Quality Improvement methodology.” The Project is under the auspices of Ghana Health Service, Kybele (an international NGO committed to safer child birth worldwide) and Ridge Hospital. he is contributed extensively in publications and Book Chapters. He has also worked extensively as a National Consultant supporting work in improving quality & safety in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
